Fancy Florals
Fancy Florals was completed 21st January 2021. It is a mixed media drawing of Ink and the colouring procured with soft pastels. I specifically chose the pastels for this thick 200GSM Canson paper because pastels have glowing, iridescent properties due to their crystalline pigments. So, when I view this work, there seems to be a realism about it because of the pigments. Its hard to explain but it enchants the work.
