I did a few local paintings around this time, like Tench Reserve, and Nepean Belle On The Nepean River,
and View Of The Nepean River From The Log Cabin. This one is a painting in a relatively naive style, due to the fact that this part of High Street,
Penrith, NSW, is part of the old Penrith shops and it is laid back, casual, and almost has a country feel
which even today, in some parts of Penrith, it retains that something special. This is the height of Summer.
Pastel on canvas. Very large canvas approx. 1 metre x 1 metre.
This is another conceptual piece regarding the constant self evolution we go through,
using props and masks for a guise while we metamorphosise into a changed and altered human being- forever evolving.

This is a mix of paints and pastels on architectural paper.
This artwork is a play on the word ‘Embarrassed’, so, it is logical then, to
proceed with a drawing of someone’s bare behind, with the flipped up petticoat.
This type of paper gives a very sheened and translucent effect to the drawing.
