Octonurse is another hospital drawing. Talking to nurses its easy to confirm what is seen- under-staffing, shared equipment, and dealing with over tiredness and a lingered result of the covid stress times. There are also reduced intakes at uni for the nurse and even doctor courses. Dedication is key to being in the medical profession and toiling hard is par for the course and the work.
Octonurse is modelled from one such nurse of many others there, who I saw every day while I was in the ward in May 2023. Not only patients have many needs, I’m sure looking from the other perspective side its not hard to think the patients are not unlike being like octopuses (octopi?) too! 🙂
